Conflicting resolution and accuracy-related fields are not used as a verified precision claim; do not soak the instrument.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact item. A photo or shared size label does not establish a safe candle formulation or equipment compatibility.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS SUPPLY
Consider the details.
TempPro's TempDip digital thermometer pairs a long probe with a pot clip and a rotating LCD. The source describes a ten-inch probe and a display that can be turned to improve the viewing angle. A clip arrangement can keep the instrument positioned at a vessel rather than requiring a handheld reading each time, provided the fit and sensing position are suitable. The thermometer measures temperature; it does not regulate an electric melter or control a wax recipe.
The supplied details contain a very different resolution field from the advertised accuracy wording. Those entries are not treated as a verified precision specification or evidence of independent calibration. The source also describes an IPX5 cleaning claim while explicitly saying not to soak the instrument. That distinction is retained: a water-resistance description does not establish that the display, battery area or whole thermometer can be immersed in a cleaning bath or hot material.
Choose the model if the clip and adjustable viewing angle suit the vessel you use. Confirm the current instructions for clip fit, sensing depth and cleaning before relying on continuous positioning. The ten-inch probe length does not establish a correct immersion depth for every pot. Follow the requirements for your selected wax rather than adopting the instrument's advertised measuring range as a recommended working temperature or assuming a universal one-second result.
