THE SUPPLY NOTEBOOK

Compare melting and pouring equipment by its stated role

A pitcher and a powered melter are different purchases

A pouring vessel can hold and direct material without containing a heating element. A powered melter has its own equipment requirements. Confirm which type the selected listing supplies, along with any included lid, accessories or separate base. A photograph of equipment beside a heat source does not establish that the source is included or that the vessel can be used on it.

Read heat-source and electrical requirements

Use the manufacturer’s stated compatibility for the exact variation. Do not infer induction, direct-flame or microwave suitability from an appearance or material label. For powered equipment, compare the listed voltage, plug and instructions with the intended location of use. Where capacity descriptions disagree, avoid treating either figure as a verified usable working amount.

Measure with tools suited to the task

A scale and a thermometer report different quantities. Review the listed units, measurement range and device format rather than using their pictures to infer accuracy. This site does not supply melting temperatures, heating times or wax recipes. Those settings must come from the relevant manufacturers and the actual process you are qualified to carry out.
